Catalunya, my beloved home since 5 years, is the World Region of Gastronomy 2025. This prestigious title, awarded by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT), is not just an honour; it's a testament to our rich culinary heritage, innovative spirit, and deep-rooted connection to the land and sea. And for anyone passionate about wine and food travel, this is truly a monumental announcement.

The last week I was invited to join this gastronomic travel event with more than 70 touroperators from all over the world. After attending the workshop with new and existing partners it was time to travel to one of the regions to experience the wealth of Catalunya ourselves, not only in food and wine but also in culture and nature.
