Program

Day 1 - arrival Hotel El Molí in Pont de Molins

Hotel El Molí is a charming hotel, located in a restored mill from the 17th century, with an outdoor swimming pool,  In the evening a 4-course dinner with local products. The restaurant is closed on Monday, Tuesdays for dinner and Wednesdays for lunch and dinner.

Day 2 - visit with wine tasting at La Vinyeta

La Vinyeta is a beautiful winery that a young enthusiastic couple started  in the wine region of the Alt Empordà in 2002. Voted Winery of the Year 2018 by the Association of Catalan Sommeliers. A special winery that  produces not only wine but also olive oil, vinegar, eggs, cheese and honey with respect of nature. You will taste these products and their wines during lunch after the tour.

Day 3- departure or extension

Stay more nights and visit other wineries nearby, visit the town of Peralada with its winery and golf course. Or visit Cadaques which will take you about one hour.

Visit Dalí museum

Figueres with the stunning Dalí museum is 10 minutes by car from the hotel. You will need all your eyes during the visit to this museum. We can arrange the visit to the museum on any day you would like (on Mondays closed except in July and August).

Day 1 - Hotel Llafranch on Costa Brava

This 3* hotel is an iconic seafront hotel in the heart of Llafranc.  Enjoy spectacular Mediterranean Sea views, indulge in traditional Catalan cuisine, and relax on the terrace bar. Perfect for a tranquil getaway any time of year.

A wonderful place to discover the vineyards and the coast of the Costa Brava!

Day 2 - Visit to Pals with wine tasting at Celler Mas Geli

Pals is a beautifully preserved medieval village perched atop a hill. Its panoramic views of the surrounding countryside are simply breathtaking. The area is famous for its rice.

Near Begur you will find Celler Mas Geli, a family owned organic winery that produces great wines. After a tour you will taste 4 of their wines accompanied by artisan cheeses on the terrace with views on the vineyards and Montgrí.

Possible to add a picnic at your experience.

Day 3 - Visit with wine tasting at Clos d'Agon

As early as the 15th century there were vineyards on this wine estate. Since the 1990s, new grape varieties have been planted, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Voignier, Marsanne and Monastrell.

The new bodega was built in 2005, fully integrated into the environment and inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian. After the tour there you will enjoy a tasting of their wines. This winery is one of the Grandes Pagos de España.

Possible to add a picnic or a biking experience.

Day 4 - departure or extension

This day it is time to leave or extend your Catalan adventure!  Choose to spend extra nights in this area or escape to another part of Catalunya. The choice is yours!
