Program
During this trip you will visit 3 wine regions and several wineries of which some are a member of Grandes Pagos de España: Clos d'Agon in Empordà, Gramona in Penedès and Mas Doix in Priorat. Enjoy the different landscapes and the wines and cavas from these regions!
Day 1 - arrival at Hotel Mas del Sol, Empordà
This 4* hotel is surrounded by vineyards of the Empordà, the wine region of the Costa Brava. About 10 minutes from the coast and 30 kilometers from Girona. Located in a Catalan masia, this boutique hotel features a restaurant, lounge, terrace and outdoor pool.

Day 2 - visit with wine tasting at Clos d'Agon
As early as the 15th century there were vineyards on this wine estate. Since the 1990s, new grape varieties have been planted, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Voignier, Marsanne and Monastrell.
The new bodega was built in 2005, fully integrated into the environment and inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian. After the tour there you will enjoy a tasting of their wines. Possible to add a picnic or a biking experience.

Day 3- drive to Penedès, arrival Casa Modernista Bolet
Casa Modernista Bolet is a charming hotel located in a Modernist building from 1911 and surrounded by ecological vineyards, green hills, pine forests and olive trees. All five rooms are different and you will stay in one with views on the vineyards.
On the premises you will also find the winery of the family Bolet. You will have tour with tasting of their premium wines and cava. Enjoy a gastronomic dinner paired in the evening in one of the nearby restaurants.
The hotel is about 10 minuted from Vilafrance del Penedès with various Modernist buildings and home of 3 Castellers (human towers) group. Depending on their schedule you can see them in action or practising.
Day 4 - visit Gramona in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia
Gramona is a beautiful winery in the centre of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. You will visit their vineyards outside this cava town including the farm with their sheep, chickens and horses. The views are amazing with Montserrat on the background. On return in their winery you will enjoy their cavas and wine during a tasting.
Day 5- drive to Priorat, arrival Design Hotel Ora
Ora Hotel Priorat combines the old-world charm with modern day comfort. Located in the historical abbey of Torroja del Priorat, an 18th century building converted into a stylish boutique hotel, makes Ora a great place to enjoy a unique experience of the beautiful landscapes, exceptional wines and genuine gastronomy of the Priorat wine country.
On this day or the last day you will make a stop at Atavus Winery in Gratallops. A nice family winery where do work in connection with nature. You will walk through the vineyards and learn more about the process and their filosophy. In the new tasting room with a views on the vineyards you will enjoy a tasting of their iconic wines accompanied by lunch.
Day 6 - visit Mas Doix
Visit to this exceptional winery near Scala Dei. This winery is one of the Grandes Pagos de España. After the tour you will have a tasting of 5 of their wines. On request a tasting of 7 wines of old vintages is possible.
Between Torroja del Priorat and Mas Doix you will find the Monastery of Scala Dei, the Carthusian
settlement that is now a museum that you can visit outside the village of Escaladei. Here you can also visit the Escaladei winery.
Day 7 -departure or to other region
Departure or extend this trip with a one of the other regions like Terra Alta, Tarragona or Ebro Delta.
