Program

Day 1 - arrival Hotel El Molí in Pont de Molins and visit to Dalí museum in Figueres

Hotel El Molí is a charming hotel, located in a restored mill from the 17th century, with an outdoor swimming pool,  In the evening a 4-course dinner with local products.

Figueres, the birth place of Dalí, is also where his famous museum is located. The museum was built on the remains of the theatre in Figueres and was designed by the artist himself. He created a unique world and you will need all your eyes during the visit to this exeptional museum.

Figueres is 10 minutes by car from the hotel. 

Day 2 - Tour with picnic in La Vinyeta

Visit with picnic andn wine tasting at La Vinyeta, a beautiful winery that a young enthusiastic couple started  in the wine region of the Alt Empordà in 2002. Voted Winery of the Year 2018 by the Association of Catalan Sommeliers. A special winery that  produces not only wine but also olive oil, vinegar, eggs, cheese and honey with respect of nature. You will taste these products and their wines during lunch after the tour.

Day 3- departure for Peratallada

The name Peratallada, meaning "cut stone," perfectly describes this enchanting village.  Its narrow, winding streets, punctuated by stone arches, hidden courtyards, and flower-draped balconies, invite you to explore every nook and cranny.

You will stay 3 nights on basis of half-board at Hotel Mas Rabiol, a beautifully restored 16th-century farmhouse with 8 comfortable bedrooms. The hotel's extensive gardens, spanning 50,000 m², feature a large swimming pool, ideal for relaxation.  Mas Rabiol's location makes it an excellent base for exploring the Empordà and the Costa Brava. 

Day 4 - medieval villages Pals and Begur

Just a short drive from Peratallada, Pals is another beautifully preserved medieval village perched atop a hill. Its panoramic views of the surrounding countryside are simply breathtaking. The area is famous for its rice.

Near Begur is a fantastic winery that offers tours but also picnics and other experiences. This could be included in your trip.

Another picturesque town is Begur with a historic castle overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Begur also hosts  stunning beaches. It's a perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy fresh seafood.

Day 5 - Girona

At about an hour's drive you will find the vibrant city of Girona.  Its medieval Jewish Quarter, colorful houses lining the Onyar River, and impressive cathedral make it a cultural and historical treasure trove. Girona is a culinary hotspot, boasting everything from traditional Catalan cuisine to innovative Michelin-starred restaurants.

You will explore the city during a walking tour with a guide.

Day 6 - Departure for Tossa de Mar

While the beaches and the Vila Vella are undoubtedly the main attractions, Tossa has more to offer.  Explore the town's charming streets, lined with whitewashed houses, shops, and restaurants.  Visit the local market for fresh produce and local crafts.   

During a 3-hours Scuba Diving experience you will discover the beautiful underwater world of Costa Brava.

You will stay here for 2 nights at Hotel Casa Granados. Day 7 - relax and Scuba Diving experience

Time for relaxation and during a 3-hours Scuba Diving experience you will discover the beautiful underwater world of Costa Brava.

Day 8 - departure or extend your trip

This day it is time to leave or extend your Catalan adventure!  Choose to spend extra nights in this area or escape to another part of Catalunya. The choice is yours!
