During this holiday you will start the cycling in the Pyreenes, offering you the opportunity to pedal trough picturesque mountains and experience the unspoiled natural beauty.

Then you will discover the Garrotxa volcanic zone, where you will be mesmerized by the relaxing trails and verdant valleys sculpted by ancient volcanoes. After that you will arrive to Girona where you will enjoy this medieval city known by its rich history, charming cobblestone streets and vibrant culture. We recommed to have a free day in Girona to explore its ancient walls, historic landmarks and rich offer of local cuisine.

To finish this tour you will cycle to the Costa Brava for a relaxing stay in hotel Costa Brava to reflect on your remarkable escapade.

You will stay in nice 3/4* hotels where you can enjoy good gastronomy. This holiday package is including dinner during 2 evenings.

Luggage transport is included between the hotels.

Program

Day 1 and 2 - arrival Santa Pau and bike tour Pyrenees

The biking holiday starts in Santa Pau, a wonderful and medieval town in la Garrotxa (the volcanoes county) where you stay in a charming hotel with an excellent volcanic cuisine.

The bikes will be delivered to you the 2nd day at aproximately 09.30 before the transfer to Llanars (the Pyrenees). You will get instructions about the bikes and GPS from the bike shop staff and they will help you with all the questions you might have.

From Llanars you will cycle to Santa Pau via Olot. Both parts (45 and 12 kms) are intermediate.

Optional you can cycle around Garrotxa ( around 60 km ).

Overnight at Hotel Cal Sastre for 2 nights including breakfast and dinner. On the second day a gastronomic dinner.

Day 3 and 4 - from Santa Pau to Girona

You will cycle from Garrotxa county to Girona city where you will spend 2 nights to discover this beautiful city and enjoy the medieval city center. The part from Santa Pau to Olot (12 kms) is intermediate and from Olot to Girona (60 km) easy.

Overnight at Hotel Carlemany, a 4 stars hotel in the center of Girona, for 2 nights including breakfast.

Day 5 and 6 - from Girona to Costa Brava

You will cycle from Girona to Costa Brava to end the cycling in the coast. Difficulty is intermediate, 40 kms.

You will stay at Hotel Costa Brava in Platja d'Aro with one of the best sea views in the area. Stay is including breakfast.

The bikes will be collected on your arrival at Hotel Costa Brava.
